Map of
Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, El Jebel,
Redstone, and Missouri Heights, Colorado

The Roaring Fork Valley with Aspen on the left and Mt. Sopris in the center

The northwestern part of the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado is 157 miles west of Denver and 90 miles east of Grand Junction, and is reached by taking Interstate 70.  The Eagle ~ Vail airport is only 31 miles from Glenwood Springs and is serviced by several major airlines.  Aspen has a regional airport.

One of the prettiest area drives is along Route 133 to Redstone, a tiny mountain village with art galleries and the charming, historic Redstone Inn.  Stop for Lunch or a delightful Dinner at the inn, or even better - spend a few days in this wonderful little hideaway.
